Course Description:
The Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support – Renewal program teaches you how to be prepared to handle trauma patients in the prehospital environment. This course will help you to identify mechanisms of injury, interpret signs and symptoms, understand pathophysiology, recognize life-threatening injuries, and hone your assessment skills to perform appropriate interventions that will increase the chances for your patient's survival. Recognition of successful completion is for 3 years.

Mandatory “PHTLS Basic and Advanced Prehospital Trauma Life Support 6th Edition” Text - $71.44 (978-0323-03331-2)
