Course Description:
The Supersitter program is a babysitting course designed for participants 11 – 16 years old who have an active interest in babysitting and childcare. Both beginning and experienced sitters will benefit from this course. This is a 6-hour course that covers common sense rules for sitters, including questions to ask before you tour the house, and how to present yourself in an interview; a good first impression. Also covered is basic fundamentals of childcare, CPR/FA, sitter safety and precautions, how to handle emergency situations, how to prevent accidents, behavior and discipline. As well as how to care for babies and toddlers, appropriate toys and games, and ideas to keep young children entertained.  Hand-outs and workbooks are given to all participants. Bring a pen or pencil, a note pad, comfortable clothes, and a lunch (if needed).

Additional Information:
This program is for children 11 – 16 years old who love kids and want to learn the correct ways to baby sit. It is recommended that the parents attend the program for at least 15 minutes.
