Course Description:
The Basic Life Support & AED – Instructor Renewal program is a 7-hour course that reviews the teaching skills of instructors. A non-expired AHA BLS / AED Instructor card is required. Your certification will be valid for 2 years.
Materials Needed for Class:
Mandatory “Basic Life Support Instructor’s Manual” Text - $39.00 (90-1036)
Recommended “BLS for Healthcare Providers” Text - $15.00 (90-1038)
Recommended “BLS Healthcare Provider Instructor Package” $104.00 (90-1037)
Bring a pen or pencil, a note pad, and a lunch (if needed).
Additional Information:
Renewals are not required to be monitored on a separate day. They must be able to show they’ve taught 4 courses in the last 2 years if not registered with us as a Basic Life Support - Training Center Faculty (BLS-TCF).
