Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)



Medical providers who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment abilities through the American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training. From basic life support to advanced interventions and from airway management to pharmacology and more, professionals hone their skills to save lives.  Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Prep - This 8-hour Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Preparation course is designed to review selected ACLS topics and may be helpful in preparing for an initial or renewal ACLS provider course. It may also be helpful for anyone who wishes to feel more comfortable in cardiac emergencies. Reviewing the most current guidelines in; BLS/HCP, Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation of 3 Lead, emergency medication, and the use of those medications in emergency situations will be reviewed.  This is not an ACLS Provider Course and an ACLS provider card will not be issued. This is intended for review of ACLS content.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) New - 2 Day Course The ACLS course will enhance student’s skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal - 1 Day Course.  The ACLS course will enhance student’s skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.
